Problems of love, whether between romantic partners, parent and child, siblings or the best of friends, complicate patient s lives. People often present in therapy with problems of anxiety and depression that mask underlying problems of intimacy. In this group, participants will be alert to feelings of shame and guilt that help therapists discover the central conflicts that inhibit satisfying reciprocity and mutuality.
